HAWTHORNE, Calif. -The TRW Systems Federal Credit Union headquarters has made room for the local law enforcement's Regions Skills Training Center. California Peace Officer Standards and Training developed the centers to meet the training needs of more than 60,000 sworn officers. The training centers focus on updating skills, including driving, arrest and control, and verbal communications. "The credit union is an ideal location as it is freeway close to all South Bay Training committee member agencies," said Tom Jester, lead instructor with the Hawthorne Police Department. "TRWSFCU has collaborated with south Bay Police departments and El Camino college on many law enforcement fronts making this partnership a natural extension of our relationship.
