PLANO, Texas – EDS Employees FCU, one of the largest credit unions in Texas, has completed its conversion to a state-charter. The credit union said the charter change will not impact the $480 million credit union's field-of-membership that includes all Electronic Data Systems Corp. employees, retirees, and their immediate family members. EDS CU has 48,000 members. Mark O'Bryan, president/CEO of EDS CU said "converting to a state charter will assist in the growth of the credit union, allowing it to meet the demands of a changing market while providing more flexibility for current and new members."
