This issue of Credit Union Times marks the first anniversary of one of the most tragic events in American history. Like the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the JFK assassination, the events of Sept. 11, 2001 have left an indelible mark on all Americans who witnessed them. Enduring stories of lost loved ones and triumphant memories of new heroes ensure America will never forget. Though many believe America has been changed forever, 9/11 also showed what hasn't changed – an indomitable American spirit that will never relent. Credit Union Times is doing its small part in this issue to remember that day and its effect on credit union people everywhere.
