PHILADELPHIA – Credit union executives can get the lowdown on high tech straight from the mouths and books of some of the nation's preeminent business experts, and get a price break from CUES, at a conference coming up at the renowned Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The conference is called "Managing Emerging Technologies" and it will be held Oct. 13-16 at the Philadelphia campus. A cadre of 17 of Wharton's experts, many of them noted authors, will "cover the emerging technology landscape – from strategy to finance to human resources – in a way that only a group of top scholars from many disciplines could do," the school says. Such instruction – which includes working with real-live scenarios from participants' credit unions – doesn't come cheap. The cost is $5,265, or $3,900 for CUES members.
