CORVALLIS, Ore. – Credit union data processor Summit Information Systems and Raddon Financial Group have developed a Member Relationship Management (MRM) solution for credit unions. The solution ranks each member’s value according to his or her total experience with the credit union including transaction activity, service methods and account balances. The companies combined the core processing capabilities of the Summit Spectrum system with RFG’s marketing research and systems expertise to develop the new MRM product. Detailed member transaction activity is extracted from the Summit core system and analyzed by RFG, and the results are uploaded to the Summit core system. Credit union staff can use the Summit MRM application to access member value information and identify the next best product to target specific members for direct mail campaigns, and effectively price products and services, according to Summit. “We firmly believe identifying and retaining profitable members is critical to the continued success of credit unions. This next generation of member relationship management can enhance the value of our mutual customers by enabling them to effectively price, position and sell their products and services,” said Kevin Sparks, president of Summit.
