TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Southeast Corporate FCU has hired Ben G. Mauldin as SVP of the corporate's consulting services division. Mauldin comes over from VolCorp. Mauldin was SVP, CFO at VolCorp prior to this move. Southeast Corporate FCU President/CEO Bill Birdwell is a former VolCorp President/CEO. He left VolCorp to join WesCorp before coming to Southeast Corporate. Since his arrival at Southeast Corporate, a number of VolCorp employees have joined Southeast Corporate. Mauldin, who has 13 years of CU experience including with NCUA as a corporate CU examiner, will lead the new consulting division that will provide CUs with a broad base of services, including risk management and special projects assistance.
