WASHINGTON-Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson presented the `Credit Union Cup' to Public Health Services Federal Credit Union last week, whose team outran all the other credit union teams in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run back in April. The ceremony took place in the secretary's Washington D.C. office. The `Credit Union Cup,' is a perpetual trophy donated by Northwest Federal Credit Union and goes to the fastest credit union team at the credit union-sponsored event. A total of 22 credit union teams, with 85 runners, participated in the first-ever Credit Union Challenge in 2002. Ten officials from Public Health Service FCU will be on-hand to receive the Credit Union Cup from the Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc. Board. It will be up for grabs each year at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run in Washington D.C.
