RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Credit Union Direct Lending's new Web site is up and running. Cudirect.com's redesigned site "gives it a fresh new look plus improved navigation for member auto buying information," the company said. Keven Ellison, vice president of marketing and communications at CU Direct Corp. said the company's goal is to make its Web site the leading online auto buying resource for credit union members. "If we can give credit union members all of the right tools to successfully research, negotiate, and purchase their next new or used vehicle (with their credit union's financing), then we've done our job," he said. www.cudirect.com now includes a menu-driven interface with redundant links and a reorganization of subject matter, with easier access to information included on the Web site. Features include a vehicle configuration and comparison utility, Kelley Blue Book information, a free "Lemon Check", loan calculator and dealer locator. The redesigned site also integrates co-branding with CUDL partnering credit unions so the user who travels to the site from a participating CU site sees their CU's brand. In the coming months, CUDL plans to add other features to its Web site, such as auto buying tips, a financing comparison calculator, real-time rebate information, and a much tighter co-branding experience for CU members. CUDL has also renamed its "Fleet Program" to "Auto Buying Program."
