DEL MAR, Calif. – At its annual convention held recently in Savannah, Ga., the Information Technologies Credit Union Association announced the creation of "Neutral Network", a pool of tech product reviews and experiences from ITCUA members. The Neutral Network is available in a database at an ITCUA driven site (www.neutralnetwork.org) so members can access the information at any time. "Think of it as a consumer review magazine for credit unions, except that it offers real experiences from real users," said Kathy Clark, executive director of ITCUA. "Not every credit union has the resources to form a comprehensive committee to specify, source and implement new technology. We'd like to show what can be done with a little cooperation." The site is expected to be up and running by the end of the summer. The ITCUA was originally founded 43 years ago as International Telephone Credit Union Association, but it has morphed into more of a tech-driven association. It has 160 member CUs.
