MADISON, Wis. – During recently held concurrent annual meetings here directors were re-elected to the boards of the CUNA Mutual Group and CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Co. The following directors have been re-elected to three-year terms on the CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Company board: James Barbre, president/COO, ACT Technologies Inc.; Robert Bream, president/CEO, United Airlines Employees' CU; Loretta Burd, president/CEO of Centra CU; Rudolf Hanley, president/CEO, Orange County Teachers FCU; and Mike Kitchen, president/CEO, CUNA Mutual Group. In addition, the following five directors have been re-elected to four-year terms on the CUNA Mutual Group Board of Directors: Farouk Wang, director, Buildings & Grounds Management, University of Hawaii at Manoa; Larry Wilson, president/CEO, Coastal Federal Credit Union; Bream; Burd; and Hanley. Principal officers re-elected to one-year terms include: James Bryan, president/CEO Texans CU, as chairman; Burd, as vice-chairman; Brian McDonnell, president/CEO, Navy Federal Credit Union, as second vice-chairman. CUNA Mutual officers who serve on the board include Mike Kitchen, president/CEO; Faye Patzner, board secretary; and Jeff Holley, treasurer. The CUNA Mutual Group Board of Directors has significant responsibility in setting strategic direction and providing operational oversight for the companies of the CUNA Mutual Group.
