DALLAS – Ready to move forward with its new program aimed at buying credit card portfolios, TNB Card Services has named Jay Kurian, a former banker, senior vice president/agent issuer program manager. Kurian was most recently with Banco Popular as director of U.S. card products and previously held management positions responsible for card products at Signet Bank and AT&T Universal Card. With more credit unions selling their credit card portfolios to MBNA, InfiCorp and others, TNB Card Services hopes that its new program will help keep the portfolios in the credit union "family." "I am very excited about the skills Jay brings to TNB," said TNB Executive Vice President Rollie Penn. "He has a very strong credit card risk management background." TNB Card Services is a division of Town North National Bank and provides credit unions credit and debit card services and serves almost one million cardholders nationwide.
