WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Credit Union Times’ already talented editorial staff is now even stronger with the addition of David Morrison as Reporter-At-Large. Morrison will focus on stories involving credit cards, debit cards and ATM services and networks; low-income credit unions; as well as general credit union news nationwide. “I look forward to thoroughly and accurately reporting news that affects credit unions,” said Morrison. Morrison has worked for almost 20 years in journalism and communications, covering Congress and a number of federal departments and administrative agencies such as the Departments of Agriculture and Commerce as well as the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. AID, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and, most recently, NCUA. Among the publications for which Morrison has reported are Food Chemical News, Pesticide and Toxic Chemical News, Inside U.S. Trade, Credit Union Regulatory Insider and, most recently on a correspondent basis for Credit Union Times. He has also reported from overseas on human rights abuses for the Population Research Institute. In addition to his reporting for the Credit Union Regulatory Insider and Credit Union Times, Morison’s credit union experience includes a brief term working on communications with NASCUS. He lives in Arlington, Virginia.
