<p>LA PLACE, La. – Ronald Thomas, a charter member of Louisiana FCU, passed away May 12. He was 94 years old. In 1935, Thomas was a charter member of Norco Refinery Employees Federal Credit Union, which became Louisiana Federal CU. He was also a long time member of the Louisiana Credit Union League board of directors, and he chaired the League Stabilization Committee for many years. Louisiana Credit Union League President/CEO Anne Cochran said Thomas "was a great friend to Louisiana credit unions. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this time of bereavement." Thomas is survived by his wife Helen and a son, Ronald Thomas, Jr.</p>
