<p>SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – CGI Group Inc., one of the largest tech firms in Canada, has signed a 10-year contract to provide data processing services to League Data of Halifax, Nova Scotia, adding 70 credit union clients and 320,000 members to CGI's existing base. CGI is the parent company of the former credit union data processor C.U. Processing, which was acquired by CGI a few years ago. Warren Marshall, the former CEO of Stanford FCU and of its spin-off Net banking firm, CyberBranch, is now a VP with CGI working on the credit union side of the business. CGI now provides services to over 2,300 credit unions spread out in North America. This includes its ATM business. League Data provides IT services to 70 credit unions at 145 locations throughout Canada.</p>
