EAGAN, Minn. – Minnesota Corporate FCU said it will begin offering its member CUs financial planning services they can offer to their members. The services are being delivered by Corporate Access, LLC, a CUSO formed last year by Minnesota Corporate, Iowa League Corporate Central CU, Nebraska Corporate Central FCU, CorpStar FCU and Treasure State Corporate. Corporate Access partnered with Waddell & Reed, Inc, Overland Park, Kansas, to administer the service. Waddell & Reed's investment management affiliate manages nearly $40 billion in total assets and more than 1.8 million mutual fund shareholder accounts. The financial planning services will include financial position analysis, risk and investment management, accumulation and retirement planning, and estate planning strategies. "The new service will be particularly beneficial to small credit unions," said Lewis Lambert, president/CEO of Minnesota Corporate. "Waddell & Reed caters to credit unions with less than $100 million in assets and will customize its service to meet individual credit union needs."
