<p>ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar was scheduled to meet with Chinese financial regulatory officials in Beijing, China last week. Dollar was expected to discuss the American credit union system and regulatory issues affecting the financial cooperative system in China in the April 23 meeting. He is meeting with Chinese Central Bank officials, including Zhang Gong Ping, director of the Department of Cooperative Finance with People's Bank of China, Governor of People's Bank of China Dai Xiang Long, and Deputy Governor of People's Bank of China Shi Ji Liang. "This conference will be a continuation of NCUA's dialogue with the Chinese banking officials regarding the American credit union system and the financial cooperative system in China," Dollar said in a statement. Also while in Beijing, the Chairman will also speak at the 13th Annual International Credit Union Management Perspective Seminar being held in China.</p>
