<p>LOS ANGELES – No good deed goes unnoticed. At least that is true for SCE Federal Credit Union when City Councilman Nick Pacheco, on behalf of the city of Los Angeles presented an official proclamation. The $275 million credit union was recognized for its work in the community and continued support of various service organizations in Boyle Heights including Madres del Este de Los Angeles-Santa Isabel, the Los Angeles Music and Arts School and the East Los Angeles Youth & Family Center. SCE FCU was also honored for providing financial assistance and counseling services to the community. SCE FCU Chief Operating Officer George Poitou accepted the citation at a Los Angeles City Council meeting.</p>
