CALABASSAS, Calif. – Cascade View CU, Portland, Ore., has the distinction of being the first former VIFI client to be converted to Digital Insight's platform. Digital Insight acquired VIFI earlier this year and notified VIFI clients that they would have to convert over to the DI platform. Mike Parker, director of MIS for the CU, was in no mood for a conversion as his CU had already gone through conversion pains moving from a Corporate Network eCom solution to Digital Insight. But Parker said he must give credit where credit is due – the DI conversion was smooth. "From beginning to end it took about two months. The cool thing about this is I never had to make a phone call to find out what was going on. I was getting phone calls all the time keeping me informed," said Parker. He said he had minimal problems communicating working with the CU's data processor, but nothing worth noting. His CU does not yet offer bill pay, however, which some VIFI clients were saying is going to be the real test of how DI does during the conversion process.
