<p>Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union, Valley Stream, N.Y., has held a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Massapequa branch. Officials from the Town of Oyster Bay, credit union board members, management and staff, and representatives from the architectural firm that completed the project participated in the ceremony. The new branch is a full-service location that features two surcharge-free 24-hour ATMs with drive-up or walk-up access. The addition of the Massapequa branch provides members with a total of four convenient locations. Corporate America Family Credit Union, has held a grand opening event. The two-day event entitled "Stronger and Smarter" kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony and attendees enjoyed food, beverages and were entered to win several door prizes including a treadmill, a stationary bike and a Quicken financial software program. Dover Federal Credit Union, Dover AFB, Del., has opened a White Oak Road branch. Members and dignitaries were on hand to enjoy opening day festivities including a ribbon cutting ceremony and a live radio broadcast by local station Eagle 97.7 FM. In addition, a dedication ceremony was held in honor of former director Roy G. Davis. Raritan Bay Federal Credit Union, Sayreville, N.J., has held a grand opening celebration for its Parlin branch. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Sayreville Mayor Kennedy O'Brien performed the honor of cutting a ribbon made of miniature $5, $10, and $20 dollar bills, strewn across the drive-thru teller lanes, symbolic of a donation, which was presented to the Sayreville Emergency Squad. Dave Voight, president of the Sayreville Emergency Squad was there to accept the $100 donation. Russell Clark, President of the Credit Union Affiliates of New Jersey awarded a plaque to Raritan Bay FCU, in recognition of the new office and the achievements of Raritan Bay FCU. The Parlin EXPRESS features three drive-thru teller lanes, two teller windows inside and a full service, surcharge-free ATM in the lobby. McCoy Federal Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., has held a grand opening for its Chickasaw Trail branch. An estimated 750 potential and current members attended the event. Local radio station MIX 105.1 spun music as attendees enjoyed the food and prizes. The facility features drive-up tellers with video technology and walk-up and drive-up ATMs. Arizona Federal Credit Union, Tempe, Ariz., has broken ground on its new Glendale branch. Designed by Langdon Wilson architects, the new larger branch is scheduled to begin serving members this fall. Attending the festivities were representatives from general contractor Southwest Architectural Builders. Credit Union 1, Lombard, Ill. has selected DEI,Inc., a design/build financial facilities firm, for two projects. The Thompson Center branch, located in downtown Chicago will renovate and a new facility will be built for the Caballeros San Juan branch. The San Juan branch will include two drive-up lanes and an ATM lane. Sarasota Coastal Credit Union, Fla., has awarded DEI,Inc., a design/build financial facilities firm, two projects. The 2000 square-foot University Parkway branch will be located in a strip mall and features two remote tellers. The Operations/Branch at Bee Ridge Road will be a two-story approximately 9,000 square-foot branch that includes six remote teller systems and four drive-up lanes. Vermont State Employees Credit Union, Montpelier, Vt., has awarded DEI,Inc., a design/build financial facilities firm, a contract for three facilities. DEI will be constructing the credit union's ASA Bloomer branch, Williston branch and Benoit branch. The 6,000 square-foot Benoit branch will contain 3 drive-up lanes. Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, has celebrated the grand opening of its latest Anchorage branch. The two-week festivities were filled with drawings for Fred Meyer gift certificates and merchandise and ended with a grand prize drawing worth $500.</p>
