<p>PHOENIX – Arizona Media Credit Union plans to apply to expand its field-of-membership to include “local residents and individuals who are employed, attend school, worship or volunteer in the area surrounding the Corporate Office” located at 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard in North Phoenix. The geographic region includes six zip codes. Previously, membership in the $48 million credit union was limited to individuals and their family members employed in the media and communications industry. AMCU has also begun participating in the Financial Service Centers Cooperative to provide its members access to over 700 CU outlets throughout the U.S. who are on the shared branching network. These include nearly 40 outlets in Arizona. American Media CU has more than 8,000 members.</p>
