WASHINGTON-CUNA and NAFCU are taking the credit union message to the streets of Washington, D.C. Both trade associations have submitted teams for the 2002 Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run on April 7 to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. At the top of the list to lace up their sneaks are the two organization's CEO's: Dan Mica and Fred Becker. Other staffers and volunteers will be running under the team names "CU Later" and "The Captain's Crew" for NAFCU and "CUNA and the Miracles" and "The Credit Union Difference" for CUNA. Both groups also have nearly four-dozen volunteers combined working at the race. Race day coverage provided by Credit Union Times.
