ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Addison Avenue Financial Partners was presented the 2001 Program of the Year Award for Community Based Institutions from the Bank Securities Association (BSA) in recognition of the CUSO's achievements in areas such as productivity, product innovation, and initiatives in marketing, integration, education and technology. Addison Avenue Financial Partners, an investment CUSO owned by Hewlett-Packard FCU, is the first CUSO to receive the honor from a major bank trade association. BSA also recognized Addison Avenue Financial Partners' financial achievements. Like all investment firms, Financial Partners was forced to cope with the significant economic challenges and market downturns of 2001, BSA said, but unlike many other young start-up companies, the CUSO remained profitable and contributed to the bottom line of its parent credit union.
