TAMPA, Fla. – GTE Federal Credit Union is now a member of the ever-growing billion-dollar credit union club. This month, for the first time in its 67-year history, GTE FCU has reached the $1 billion in assets mark. To celebrate GTE FCU is holding a "Billion Dollar Celebration" that will continue throughout the month of April. Members will receive a scratch-off ticket in their April quarterly statements making them eligible to win a Grand Prize of $6,700, credit union funded certificates and ShareBuilder investment accounts, books and CDs. GTE Federal Credit Union is now the 57th largest credit union.
