<p>LATHAM, N.Y. – Former New York Senator Alfonse D'Amato and former New York City Mayor Ed Koch will be the keynote speakers at the New York State Credit Union League's annual Governmental Affairs Conference in Albany, May 20-21, at the Crowne Plaza hotel. D'Amato was a member of the U.S. Senate for 18 years and was responsible for crafting pro-growth legislation in areas of taxation, international trade, and housing development. He was also chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, and championed the fight to restore assets from Swiss banks to Holocaust survivors and victims' heirs. Koch was mayor of New York City for 12 years, ending in 1990. He is currently a partner in the law firm of Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman, has his own talk show on WABC 77 AM, appears daily on the television series The People's Court and writes a weekly column for the New York Daily News.</p>
