Credit Union Employment Resources, MyDAS partner to expand educational initiatives

<p>FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Credit Union Employment Resources (CUER), an affiliate of the Texas Credit Union League expanded its marketing and licensing agreement with MyDAS Marketing to provide Credit Union University with online training and education modules for league-affiliated credit unions. CUER plans to start offering Credit Union University to member CUs in March. The modules are accessible from any Internet-connected computer with a Web browser, and are available 24/7. Maritta Bush, TCUL senior vice president said CUER’s objectives continue to include education “at your fingertips.” Its agreement with MyDAS will allow credit union employees to enhance their skills without having to leave the office and provide a valuable resource to educate members, Bush said. The courses installed on the Credit Union University Web site include: new employee orientation; product knowledge; credit union philosophy; sales and service; computer basics; teller training; loan officer training; telephone service skills; leadership training; total quality management; and business development. Many of the courses will be available in both English and Spanish.</p>
