GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Open Solutions Inc. and Netkey, Inc. announced an alliance to allow OSI clients to offer an Internet banking delivery system with the ability to conduct business via self-service kiosks. OSI sees Web-enabled kiosks as a key delivery channel going forward, and so do many analysts. “Banks are now developing financial services kiosks as way to better serve their customers by once again extending their reach to the customer,” said analyst Paul Jamieson of Gomez Research in a recent report. “No need to stand in line waiting for a teller when you can immediately reorder checks, stop a payment, transfer funds or check your balance at a self-service kiosk,” he said. Netkey’s customers in the financial Services industry include E*Trade, Fidelity Investments, Fleet, Wachovia and others. OSI is a credit union and community bank data processor and e-finance solution provider.
