<p>ARLINGTON, Va. – NASCUS President Doug Duerr and Chairman Jerrie Lattimore, administrator for the North Carolina Credit Union Division met with newly appointed NCUA Board members JoAnn Johnson and Deborah Matz on February 1. It was the association's first meeting with Matz and Johnson. A second meeting is planned during CUNA's upcoming GAC. "We met with them (Matz and Johnson) to introduce NASCUS, introduce the distinction between state and federal credit unions, and discuss how we work together to successfully meet the needs of the state credit union system," said Duerr.</p>
