<p>FERNDALE, Mich. – One hundred members of the Ferndale High School Marching Band have recently serenaded Credit Union ONE. For 15 minutes, the band treated CU ONE members and staff to a selection of jazz melodies ranging from Chick Corea's Bird Land to Chuck Mangione's Land of Make Believe. As the grand prizewinner of a raffle sponsored by the Ferndale H.S. Music program, CU ONE staffers enjoyed the performance entitled Jazz for the Common Man. The Ferndale Marching Band, which has been one of the state's top 10 competitive marching bands, has been sponsoring the "Command Performance" raffle for seven years. All raffle proceeds support the music and drill costs of the Ferndale Competitive Marching Band. "We are pleased to be able to support worth while community organizations such as the Ferndale High School Music Program. We are also excited to be able to offer our members a chance to take a musical break," said CU ONE President/CEO Armando Cavazos.</p>
