<p>ORLANDO – In a joint effort, five credit union leagues will host a technology conference in mid-March. The 2002 Midwest Technology Symposium will be held in Orlando, Fla., March 14-15. It is sponsored by the Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin credit union leagues. It will feature 10 sessions and include the following speakers: Mark Sievewright, president/CEO of TowerGroup; Tom Kroen, IT director at First Technology CU; Tom Wright, editor and publisher of CU tech-talk, and others. Mike Pytlik, information systems vice president at Communications Family CU in Saginaw, Mich, and CUNA Technology Council Chairman will open the conference. The conference is priced at $459 for participants who register before Feb. 11, and $470 after that date.</p>
