WASHINGTON – Attention credit union leaders, don't be surprised if you see and hear from CUNA President/CEO Dan Mica in your e-mail box, and that's not just a text e-mail either. CUNA has sent out a video marketing e-mail to credit union leaders inviting them to attend GAC next month to help credit unions maintain their strong presence on Capitol Hill. The e-mail was sent to over 1,500 CU leaders, said CUNA. Once a recipient opens the e-mail, they view a 30-second streaming video message from Mica. "As a former member of Congress, I can tell you that nothing beats hearing directly from your constituents – first-hand, face-to-face. So I want to personally encourage you to come to CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference in February," says Mica. CUNA said this technology can help not only its promotional efforts, but also grassroots calls to action and other purposes.
