PORTLAND, Ore. -The board of directors of Oregonian FCU voted to join the Credit Union Association of Oregon, ending years of non-affiliation with the state trade association. Oregonian FCU has more than $31 million in assets and serves about 6,000 members. CUAO represents 110 CUs in the state and more than one million members. With Oregonian FCU joining the association, that leaves only two credit unions in the state that do not as yet belong to CUAO – Oregon Central CU and Mountain View FCU. A CUAO spokesperson said the two credit unions are considering becoming affiliated.
