BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Alabama Credit Union League's Board of Directors recently approved an additional $50,000 investment with iCUNow's call center lending services for credit unions. The action was among several the board took during a recent meeting to review the league's 2002 operating budget and to assess what steps it needed to take to further the future of the state's 176 credit unions and their 1.4 million members. In addition to approving the budget, the league also approved a $25,000 investment in CU-Vote, a credit union advocacy program and a subsidiary of the ACUL.
