Four-year college degree, preferably with post-graduate education or degree; *

Can develop board support for the business plan; *

Works well with the board chair, understands the channels of communication with the board; *

Can handle regulatory and legal issues; *

Experience preferred in investment management, settlement, correspondent services and e-commerce; *

Believes in the credit union philosophy, supports the credit union system and values cooperative competition; *

Understands the competition and their competencies; *

Links the business plan and strategy to position requirements; *

Able to forecast, track and analyze business plan parameters and variances.
