Cedar Point Federal Credit Union, has announced the unfortunate passing of its former CEO Betty J. Koehl. Koehl retired from Cedar Point FCU in 1994 after 24 years of service. An adamant supporter of credit unions and what they stand for, she is recognized for continuing the credit union philosophy, keeping the credit union focused and for having the foresight to provide the proper guidance to those who followed her. Koehl was active in many of the credit union trade associations, including the Maryland Credit Union League and NAFCU, as well as serving on many committees in the local community.
