Southwest Business Corporation, Chairman Charles Amato has been selected as a recipient of Sam Houston State University’s Distinguished Alumni Award for 2001. The award is bestowed on alumni who, through personal and professional achievements, have made significant contributions to society and brought honor and distinction to the university. Pennsylvania Credit Union League, Harrisburg, Key Notes magazine has been recognized by the Harrisburg Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. The IABC has awarded PCUL’s Key Notes the Gold Award for Most Improved Publication. Key Notes is the flagship publication of the Pennsylvania Credit Union League and has been published continuously since the formation of the League in 1934. In 2001, the magazine underwent several changes, the most obvious was going from a two-color to a four-color publication.
