BOSTON – TAWPI-The Association for Work Process Improvement-has released its 2001 Remittance Processing Study. Conducted by Global Concepts Inc., the report includes benchmarking data from 88 remittance processing sites and critical information in various related areas such as the current use and projections on e-commerce initiatives; image versus non-image; mail extraction, payment processing and storage, and price, reliability and throughput of equipment. TAWPI said the study is also the first to attempt to relate practices and performance across processors based on the concept of items processed per paid hour. Copies of the study can be ordered through TAWPI's Web site (www.tawpi.org). – [email protected]
