NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – CUcorp, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Michigan CU League, has purchased the Operations Policy Manual and Disaster Recovery Manual lines of business from human resource firm HRN Management Group. CUcorp will assume the operations of these lines for HRN's CU clients. Services include semi-annual operations policy updates, monthly operations notes, toll-free policy Q&A service, policy review and research, and others. CUcorp plans on delivering the products in any format, but the Web will be key to the program's success. "We purchased the technology that Web enables these products. The deal is to deliver it any way the credit union wants, whether in hard copy, digital, CD Rom and via the Web. The Web version is really what's going to make this product. It allows the credit union to search, customize and archive any changes they make to their policies," said Drew Egan, executive vice president/COO of MCUL and CUcorp. Egan said CUcorp will inherit about 350 CU clients from the deal. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
