PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Just one month after the terrorist attacks, Service Credit Union has donated $200,000 to the New England Credit Union Disaster Relief Fund to help the victims. "The credit union joins our fellow Americans in sorrow for those who have lost their lives and for all their family members who lost their loved ones," said SCU CEO Gordon Simmons. "Let us pray that such a cowardly act is never repeated." From the fallen firemen/policemen of the World Trade Center attack and families of the victims of the Pentagon attack, to the families of the victims who died in the hijacked planes, the Fund has been created to benefit all. The credit union has also provided opportunities for its membership to donate to the Disaster Relief Fund.
