LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — NACUSO has awarded its 2014Collaboration and Innovation awards to CU Benefits Alliance and the$5.8 billion America First Credit Union in Riverdale, Utah.
|Based in Salem, Ore., CU Benefits Alliance is owned by 18 credit unions and providesdevelopment, delivery, and management of benefits plans. Acceptingthe award was John Harris, CEO of the CUSO.
|“This is the Academy Award of CUSOs. A special thanks to all ofthe credit unions that are a part of our group,” said Harris, whoalso thanked the $464 million Maps Credit Union in Salem, Ore., CUBenefits Alliance's founder, and Mark Zook, president/CEO ofMaps.
|America First Credit Union received NACUSO's 2014 Credit UnionCollaboration & Innovation award. The cooperative has 19 CUSOs,more than any other credit union in the U.S., according toNACUSO.
|CU Revest LLC in San Diego received an honorable mention. TheCUSO provides valuation and collection of non-real estate securedconsumer charge-offs and recycles the accounts into new performingassets and share accounts. CU Revest is partially owned by ServatusCorp. and works with its servicing subsidiary, Credit SolutionsCorp.
