The $257 million Partner Colorado Credit Union in Arvada, Colo., paid a $600,000 dividend that was shared among its 25,000 members this month.
Last year, members shared a $700,000 dividend payout.
“The dividend bonus is a nice payback to our member/owners when we are doing well and capital remains strong,” said Sundie Seefried, Partner Colorado president/CEO. “Our ability to pay a dividend each year largely depends on member involvement. The more relationships our members have with their credit union, the greater the revenue available.”
Partner Colorado CU said it earned a $1.3 million net gain and posted a net worth of 13% through the end of October.
