The $46 million Knoxville PostOffice Credit Union will become TNConnect Credit Union on Oct.1.

The 6,700-member credit union has offices in Knoxville andSeymour, Tenn., and was founded in 1924, making it the state'soldest credit union.

KPOCUwas organized by postal employees meeting in the basement ofthe downtown Knoxville Post Office, the credit union said, and isnow open to anyone who lives, works, worships or goes to school inKnox, Blount or Sevier counties.
