CO-OP Financial Services is giving credit unions until Sept. 30to apply for Miracle Match grants for the benefit of the Children'sMiracle Network Hospitals.

The big payments and processing CUSO is again offering $1million in matching funds on behalf of its 3,500 client creditunions in its 15th year of participation in the Credit Union for Kids campaigns.

“The program is national in scope, but dollars raised go tosupporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in the localservice areas of the credit unions holding the events. This is anideal way for credit unions to uplift the community of theirmembers,” said Stan Hollen, president/CEO of CO-OP in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Credit unions also must submit their applications prior to thedate of their own event, CO-OP said, and has made the applicationsavailableonline.

More than $3 million was raised by credit unions and CO-OP lastyear through the matching grants program. There were 155 events,including 42 held for the first time, that benefited 62 CMNhospitals in 37 states, the company said.
