Building on a 30-year partnership with credit unions that hasgenerated $10 billion in loans, Enterprise Car Sales is looking totake the alliance much further.

The company said it has opened its largest used car showroom in the U.S. at the Henderson Auto Mall inHenderson, Nev.

Open seven days a week, the new facility features a light-filledshowroom with space for up to 200 vehicles, along with twoair-conditioned display bays and a lounge area, according toEnterprise.

Before arriving at the used car dealership, customers can useonline tools offered by Enterprise Car Sales and other websites toshop and compare vehicles in a certain price range with similarbody styles and features, as well as estimated monthly payments andinsurance costs, said Steve Bloom, senior vice president forEnterprise Car Sales.

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce was on hand for a ribboncutting on May 16. The new used car dealership, which has been opensince December 2012, is nearly 10 times the size of its previouslocation and is staffed by twice as many sales associates,Enterprise Car Sales said.

In January, the company said it helped credit unions generatemore than $380 million in loan volume in 2012. The loan volumegenerated was 15% higher than 2011's figures. The growth camethrough used car sales to more than 23,000 credit union memberslast year.

As a result of partnering with credit unions during the past 30years, Enterprise Car Sales said it has helped generate almost $10billion in loan volume for more than a thousand credit unionsnationwide.
