Responding to member survey findings and technological trends,the $2.7 billion Catalyst Corporate FCU announced Tuesday it has launched amobile-optimized website.

“An increasing number of credit union executives on the go want– and need – to connect to their daily activities by smartphonesand tablets,” said Kathy Garner, president/ CEO. “Developing amobile site that increases convenience for our member-owners is oneway Catalyst Corporate can deliver on our promise to provideefficient, innovative products and services.”

The new mobile site allows users to access current rates,upcoming events such as training and conferences, due diligencereports, product information and news on the mobile site. A searchfeature, as well as direct phone and email links, are alsofunctional on the new site.

A recent survey revealed that 86% of responding members reportedusing smartphones. Additionally, Catalyst Corporate's traditionalwebsite currently averages 5,600 visits a day, up 33% from a yearago. Garner said that by 2014, experts predict more people willaccess the web through a mobiledevice than through a computer.

“It's evident that the mobile platform will serve as afoundation for services of the future. The launch of our mobilewebsite will help Catalyst Corporate stay ahead of the curve andprepare for future mobile development,” Garner said.
