The $2 billion Texas Dow Employees Credit Union has presented the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the city’s largest shelter, with a donation of $1,110. The money was raised $1 at a time through a holiday promotion in which each TDECU gift card purchased was earmarked for donation to a local animal shelter, and then matched by the Lake Jackson-based credit union.
