In its quest to continue to meet the unique needs of creditunions, Enterprise Car Sales said the two entities worked togetherto generate more than $380 million in loan volume in 2012.

The loan volume generated was 15% higher than 2011's figures.Thegrowth came through used car sales to more than 23,000 credit union members lastyear, according to Enterprise Car Sales.

“For more than 30 years, our relationships with credit unionshave continued to grow stronger and more productive. We've sharedthe most success when credit unions consider us a part of theiroverall auto strategy,” said Mark McAndrews, assistant vicepresident at Enterprise Car Sales.

In an independent research study commissioned by Enterprise CarSales to determine the relative consumer appeal of a variety ofcar-buying incentives, respondents expressed greater interest invehicle-related offers such as warranty protection than inpromotional items such as high-definition TV sets, the companysaid.

“Partnerships between Enterprise Car Sales and credit unions aresuccessful because we have a lot in common, including anunprecedented level of member service, along with a commitment totheir local communities,” McAndrews said. “For our committedpartners, we pride ourselves in sending their members back to thecredit union for financing.”

As a result of partnering with credit unions during the past 30years, Enterprise Car Sales said it has helped generate almost $10billion in loan volume for more than 1,000 credit unionsnationwide.
