The $1.3 billion, 152,800-member South Carolina Federal CreditUnion has launched a newwebsite the credit union said offers greater searchfunctionality and requires fewer clicks to get to desiredinformation.

There are new product pages, and users now simply hover over thenavigation bar to browse more products in one place and then clickdirectly for more information on a specific product. There also isa new site map footer with links to products, credit unioninformation and related solutions on all pages.

South Carolina Federal runs on a Fiserv Spectrum core processingplatform with Intuit Financial Services providing the onlinebanking platform, according to the Technology Survey at Callahan& Associates. The credit union said it used Engagency ofChattanooga, Tenn., for website support in the redesign.

South Carolina Federal has 17 branches and is the PalmettoState's second-largest credit union. Based in North Charleston, thecredit union's community charter takes in Berkeley, Charleston,Dorchester, Calhoun, Orangeburg and Georgetown counties and most ofthe Columbia area.
