First Data Corp, the privately held payment processing giant,has announced it will reimburse ATM fees from its Money NetworkATMs in 14 states most impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

The company said ATM fees incurred on Money Network cardsbetween Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 are being reversed for tens of thousandsof account holders in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland,Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina,Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.Credits were applied to users' accounts throughout the week of Nov.5. Account holders were contacted via email and text aboutreceiving credits, the company said.
