Texas Trust Gets Mobile

Access Softek Provides CU With Tech Offerings

The 51,900 members of the $747 million Texas Trust Credit Union in Mansfield, Texas, are now being offered mobile banking.

Using technology from Access Softek, Texas Trust is offering apps for Apple, Android and BlackBerry smartphones, available at each of those companies’ app stores. A mobile website also is available.

Functionality includes balances, transfers, transaction histories and searches for surcharge-free ATMs. Future plans call for mobile bill pay, person-to-person transfers and remote deposit capture, the credit union said.

“Our mobile app is all about making it easy for members to access their accounts,” said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust. “We intend to give members the ability to shop, pay bills, transfer money, and make deposits with the convenience of a mobile phone.”
