Online collection and real-time fraud monitoring have been added by Bradford-Scott Data Corp. to the services it offers credit unions running the Sharetec System core processing solution.
The automated online negotiating and recovery solution is cloud based and from Debt Resolve Inc. of Tarryton, N.Y., while the real-time fraud monitoring solution, which includes activity, duplicate data and invalid data alerts, is from Sharetec.
“Partnering with Debt Resolve will allow us to provide our members even more opportunity when it comes to integrated solutions, said Keane Kulak, regional director with Bradford-Scott.
Sharetec Fraud Alerts monitors for possible fraudulent activity during member searches, transactions, enrollments, loan openings and batch postings.
“Sharetec provides “real-time” monitoring to our customers because we know the importance of keeping member data safe and secure. The sooner we can identify a threat, the less likely their data will be compromised,” Kulak said.
Bradford-Scott is one of four regional owner-distributors of the Sharetec platform in use at more than 300 credit unions.
